Texoma: December 8. Elevation normal, water 53 and muddy. Fishing has been good on the lake. Blue catfish good on cut bait and shad below the dam and main lake. Blue cats are being caught on shad cut bait, if jug lining for cats set jugs in 40-50 ft. of water. Crappie fair on minnows, hair jigs, jigs and tube jigs below the dam and along docks. Crappie are picking up in deep water under docks early in the mornings, use dark color jigs in muddy water. Tip: use scent attractant for crappie when bite is slow. Striped bass good on flukes, live bait, plastic baits and sassy shad along flats, main lake and tailwater. Striper being caught with dead sticking flukes, use electronics to locate fish and drift through the school with flukes at the appropriate depth.
