An arrest was made Monday after a joint investigation between the Arkansas State Police, Coal Hill Police Department, and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office in a hit aand run accident we first told you about on Sunday.
Dameion Hamilton,40, of Coal Hill, was booked for leaving the scene of an accident for the hit and run incident that occurred Saturday night 15th on US Highway 64.
Social media reports of the incident led to a suspect being developed and on Monday night, Hamilton was arrested on two charges of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with injury, a class D felony in the state of Arkansas.
Hamilton was booked into the Johnson County Detention Center on a no-bond hold and remained in jail Tuesday night at midnight, according to the Johgnson County Sheriff Office website and booking information.
