Hit and run victim, accident details released by Arkansas State Police

The Arkansas State Police posted the details this week of a vehicle-pedestrian fatal accident that happened back on January 14 near the junction of State High 264 and Fern Valley Road in Springdale, releasing the name of the 23-year old male victim who died after lingering in a hospital for over two weeks.

The preliminary report posted Wednesday by the ASP says that Jeen John, a Marshallese-national, was struck by a 2004 Volkswagon that was traveling west on SH 264 and driven by Skylar Race Fuller, 28, who was arrested after an eight-day investigation on January 22 on the hit and run offense.

Fuller posted a $250,000 bond on the charges and was released two days after he was arrested. Officials say he was already free on a $10,000 bond a domestic abuse case that occured back in August of last year
