Is the Morgan Nick case a part of something much bigger than any of us could ever imagine?
I really don’t know the answer. What I do know, however, is that while researching this case, I’ve stumbled upon alarming information that has been posted in various places on the Internet:
“I’ve been told that Morgan was abducted as a part of a nationwide child pornography and/or child sex ring…”
The person writing the post goes on to say: “Without going into details, I was told that Morgan had been kidnapped and taken to a location in north central Arkansas. The story was that Morgan had been accidentally killed while in engaging in some sort of activity associated with said child sex ring. The man that told me this story also claimed that he had worked for a guy who was part of the sex ring. He said this man was also in construction at that time and that Morgan had been buried under a foundation of a house near Harrison.”
What a bone chilling statement.
Due to the serious and specific nature of this information, I immediately faxed it over to the Alma Police Department.
Long after turning over the information, I found myself continuing to lose sleep night after night. I couldn’t stop thinking: Is it possible that a pornography/child sex ring existed in Arkansas in 1995?
Turns out, it’s possible.
In 1995, a man named Nathaniel Benjamin Levi Bar-Jonah moved in to the River Valley. Bar-Jonah was a convicted child molester, possible serial killer, and cannibal.
In fact, before he died in 2008, Bar-Jonah was serving a 130-year prison sentence in Montana after being convicted of kidnapping, aggravated assault and sexual assault of various children.
Why does this matter?
Bar-Jonah was an active NAMBLA (North American Man/Boy Love Association) member. Bar-Jonah was responsible for quietly establishing NAMBLA chapters in each city that he lived in over the course of his life. It is believed that Bar-Jonah helped set up the first NAMBLA chapter in the River Valley; a chapter that is believed to be alive and well to this day.
What is NAMBLA?
NAMBLA is a pedophile and pederasty advocacy organization in the United States. NAMBLA works to abolish age-of-consent laws criminalizing adult sexual involvement with minors and the organization campaigns for the release of men who have been jailed for sexual contacts with minors that did not involve coercion.
According to my sources, the group no longer holds regular national meetings.
However, around 1995 (the same time that Bar-Jonah was living in Fort Smith, Arkansas), NAMBLA was the LARGEST group in IPCE -- an international pro-pedophile activist organization. NAMBLA numbers are believed to be dwindling now at a rapid rate due to the ability to network online through pedophile networks such as DanPedo, BoyChat, and Annabelleigh. .
Bar-Jonah was originally incarcerated at the Bridgewater State Hospital for Sexual Predators. During his stay at Bridgewater, Bar-Jonah shared some of his fantasies of murder, dissection, and cannibalism. Despite these disturbing fantasies, a judge released Bar-Jonah in 1991. Bar-Jonah left Bridgewater with a promise from his family to the court that Bar-Jonah would move to Montana.
Bar-Jonah, however, did not keep that promise. Between the time of his release and his arrest in 1999 near an elementary school in Great Falls, Montana, dressed as a policeman and carrying a stun gun and pepper spray, there is evidence that shows Bar-Jonah traveled to Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan and Washington. Bar-Jonah traveled to Fort Smith, Arkansas in 1995 and lived in the River Valley briefly. I think it is fair for us to ask what did Bar-Jonah do and who did he hurt (or kill) during his stay in Fort Smith? I think those are fair questions when we consider that when authorities searched Bar-Jonah's home after his arrest in 1999, officers found lists and photographs of over 3,000 children -- boys AND girls.
The frightening reality is this: Bar-Jonah’s presence in Arkansas is VERY important for a variety of reasons. Bar-Jonah was a proven and proud card-carrying member of NAMBLA. And while the majority of NAMBLA members are men that prefer young boys, it’s important to note that many of their members also prefer young girls. NAMBLA is and was a dangerous organization.
What crimes against children did Bar-Jonah participate in while he lived in the River Valley in 1995?
Did he take Morgan Nick?
Maybe not.
It is, however, a question that is worth asking.
Over the years, there have been at least four FBI agents and six Alma investigators who have worked the Morgan Nick case. I do not doubt their passion for finding the once small girl who loved cats and apples. I have no doubt that investigators are doing their very best to sort through the thousands of leads that have accumulated over the past 24 years.
I believe they want to find Morgan Nick.
However, I also believe investigators are equally responsible for the release of accurate and up-to-date information in the Morgan Nick case -- especially if investigators are enlisting the help of the general public by way of composite sketches and press conferences.
I also believe it’s my job - and your job - to point out the inconsistencies and to ask the hard questions. That was my motive behind this series.
I believe that it’s time to set ego, pride and pre-conceived ideas aside. It’s time to dig deep and remember what’s important: a child has been lost for 24 years.
If you have information about the abduction of Morgan Nick, please come forward and call the National Center for Missing Children at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678); call 9-1-1; or call your local FBI office.
Someone, somewhere knows the truth about what happened to Morgan Chauntel Nick.
Please make the call.
