A Fort Smith woman was returned to Sebastian County on Monday to testify in a hearing for her former live-in boyfriend who is accused in the death of her 18-month-old daughter.
Accused child killer Tyree La'mont Williams was scheduled for a 10 a.m. hearing this morning in the death of 18-month-old Kylah Woodard, according to a spokesperson at the Sebastian County Prosecutor's Office.
Williams, a known drug dealer who also has other charges pending against him, is accused of first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of the toddler, who was the daughter of his live-in girlfriend, Sierra Ann Johnson.
Johnson Was checked into the Sebastian County Detention Center on Monday at 5:30 as is listed as a "Return to Testify" and ADC commitment hold as well as being listed in the "contempt" category. The 21-year-old Johnson, who is serving a ten-year sentence for various drug charges as well as for permitting the abuse of Kylah Woodard that officials say led to her death, was transported on Monday to th SCDC from the Arkansas Department of Corrections McPherson Unit in Newport.
Despite being sentenced to 120 months on her various charges just last year, Johnson's documentation from the ADC shows a parole eligible date of December 2, 2019.
Williams, who has admitted guilt in the child's death, is facing life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of Woodward.
