Tyree Williams enters guilty plea; sentenced to forty years with twenty suspended

A Fort Smith drug dealer who plead guilty to a Felony First Degree Murder charge four days before he was to stand trail in the death of toddler Kylah Mikel Woodard received a forty year sentence with twenty years suspended today.

Tyree La'Mont Williams, 25, entered the guilty plea. Williams had allegedly already admitted to the crime during investigative interviews and has been incarcerated at the Sebastian County Detention Center since his arrest after he and the baby's mother took the unresponsive 20-month old to an area hospital in January of last year where she was pronounced dead.

The mother, 20-year-old Sierra Ann Johnson, is already serving time in the Arkansas Department of Corrections on charges related to the death and various drug infractions. Her first parole eligible date is December of this year.
