OSBI announces discovery of body of missing Choctaw County man




The body of a Choctaw County man who had been missing since March 3 was located Friday in a rural area northeast of Soper, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The OSBI, with assistance from the Choctaw County Sheriff's Office and Soper Volunteer Fire Department, conducted a second search on Friday in the vicinity of where Michael Paul Beech's vehicle was located on March 4.

Searchers found Beech in a body of water a short distance from where his vehicle was recovered.

Beech's body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Tulsa, Oklahoma for an autopsy.
