A Missouri television station is reporting that the Pettis County Sheriff's Office and Sedalia Police arrested prison escapee Travis Lee Davis early Tuesday morning east of Sedalia, Missouri.
Davis escaped from the Pettis County Jail March 10. Pettis County Sheriff Kevin Bond thanked the public for assistance in locating Davis.
Bond said deputies were working with Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Cooper County Sheriff's Department on a manhunt related to the case in eastern Pettis and Western Cooper counties about an hour before Davis was found.

Officials confirmed Tuesday the girlfriend Davis threatened to kill in February is the same woman authorities in Oklahoma encountered who claimed she was kidnapped by Davis. Her whereabouts were un
Davis will face charges from Oklahoma for stealing a Heavener patrol car and escape. He also has pending charges for a burglary that occurred in Cooper County Tuesday night.
These are in addition to the original charges Davis faced.
