Arkansas man draws 15-year prison sentence for transporting minor across state line for sex


An Arkansas man who pleaded guilty in October to transporting a minor across state lines to engage in criminal sexual activity. was sentenced Monday to 15 years in prison for transporting a girl from Bolivar, Missouri to to entral Arkansas for sex.


Daniel Randolph Stone-Taylor, 21, was sentenced to the prison time at a hearing in front of Judge Doug Harpool in Springfield's Western District of Missouri federal courtroom.


According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney office, Stone-Taylor traveled from Conway, up to Bolivar in June 2019 where he picked up a 12-year-old girl and brought her back to Arkansas.


Police in Arkansas stopped Stone-Taylor near his home with the girl in his car hours after they left Missouri. Stone-Taylor admitted that this June incident was not his first involvement with the girl and said he had brought the girl to his home for four days in March of 2019.
