The Arkansas State Police has released the identity of a 27-year-old Magazine man who died in a once car collision that occurred on Thursday.
According to he ASP preliminary report released earlier today, Tyler Wendt of Magazine was killed right at 12 a.m. when the 2012 Chevrolet in which he was riding north on State High 109 in Magazine left the roadway and struck a tree.
The vehicle returned to the roadway after the impact and came to rest in the middle of the highway facing northeast.
In addition to the fatality, the driver of the Chevrolet -- 21-year-old Jayla N. Weaver of Central City -- was injured in the wreck and transported to Mercy Hospital in Booneville.
According to the report filed by ASP trooper Diego Arajuro, it was cloudy with wet road when the accident occured.
