ATV driver killed in Spiro accident

A Spiro man has died after an ATV accident.

According to a report, officials were called to the scene near Cache Creek Bridge where 39 year-old Joshua Mentzer lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree after leaving Rhino Road.

Authorities say Mentzer was not wearing a helmet and that he died en route to a Fort Smith hospital.
