Blurred Justice: Part Three - An open letter to the law firm of Wright, Lindsey and Jennings

As we continue to cover the curious case of Anthony Christopher versus LaDonna Humphrey (and the seemingly unethical actions of Benton County Circuit Judge Judge Xollie Duncan who proceeded over this case in Benton County) we thought we might also include this open letter to the senior partners at Wright, Lindsey and Jennings:

"As you are now well aware, Anthony Christopher (owner of Absolute Pediatric Therapy), represented by Jason Hendren and Glenn Ritter of your firm, has been charged with four counts of fraud – including Medicaid fraud.

As this story has unfolded, the facts have proven to be just as LaDonna Humphrey said in her complaint and counterclaim against Mr. Christopher: Humphrey alleged that Absolute was engaged in Medicaid fraud and that she was retaliated against for reporting the fraud.

You must also know by now that Hendren and Ritter took every shot possible at Humphrey on behalf of their client for reporting the Medicaid fraud.

In fact, in June of 2019, Glenn Ritter went as far as to write this: "…(Humphrey) filed this counterclaim of fraud against the Plaintiffs in attempt to further her smear campaign by publicly spreading allegations of Medicaid fraud through the community, hurting the reputation of Plaintiffs".

Ritter goes on to write… "Humphrey is making (unfounded) allegations of fraud with respect to the Arkansas Medicaid Program. He also states: (Humphrey) should be admonished and punished for her actions and motive."

Those statements can be found HERE.

Surely by now you have read about the arrest warrant for Anthony Christopher... and not only were Humphrey’s accusations true, other witnesses to the fraud have also come forward.

It’s also apparent that Christopher lied about the fraud (I believe that is called perjury) in his discovery answers that can be found HERE.

Usually, arrest warrants for Medicaid fraud are not issued on "smear campaigns" and "(unfounded) allegations".

Please tell me that you are no longer relying on Christopher’s “word” when it comes to this case? Common sense (and eventually the law) should determine the guilt or innocence of your client. Not the fanciful denials and falsehoods maintained by an individual who is now wanted and is an accused possible felon.

Certainly the reasons behind Christopher’s lawsuit against Humphrey are now crystal clear: He sought to silence a material witness to a Medicaid fraud investigation.

Why on earth would a reputable law firm stand behind this kind of behavior?

What is even more concerning is the behavior of attorney Glenn Ritter. Are you aware Ritter called Humphrey’s former employer Regional Therapy Services (while she was employed there) and told them that Humphrey had been or was about to be arrested?

This was the furthest thing from the truth.

Furthermore, are you aware that Mr. Ritter continues to this day – even into bankruptcy court – to claim that Humphrey used confidential information from Absolute Pediatric Therapy?

This information is something he claimed she downloaded from their website.

Of course, Anthony Christopher with the help of Glenn Ritter, continue to perpetuate this false information even after they received the letter I have attached from another local attorney.

His name is Chris Plumlee. Mr. Plumlee went into great detail to explain to Mr. Ritter that he had seen the exact same document that Humphrey claimed to have seen on the APT website… but that at some point the website had been changed.

A copy of the letter that outlines the truth can be found at this LINK starting on page 97.

I have only scratched the surface on the misrepresentations and blatant lies that Christopher accused Humphrey of with the help of Glenn Ritter. .. lies and misrepresentations that Humphrey debunked time and time again with the help of her attorney Thomas Stockland.

What happened to LaDonna Humphrey was not right. It was not fair. And it certainly was not just.

So I ask: will Wright, Lindsey and Jennings hold Glenn Ritter accountable? Or will you stand by silently?"
