Couple safe after rescue at Little Mulberry Creek

A couple is safe at home tonight after a rescue at Little Mulberry Creek in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 8th.

According to Mulberry Mayor Gary Baxter, multiple agencies assisted in the rescue.

Those thanked by the Mayor on Facebook include the Mulberry Police Department, Mulberry Fire Department, Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, Southwest EMS, and White’s Towing and Crawford County deputy Sheriff Rick Dahlem “for braving the very cold water to help the individuals to dry land.”
