Domestic abuse arrest for Fort Smith woman results in $1500 legally sufficient bond hold

A Fort Smith woman faces a misdemeanor charge of Domestic Battering in the Third Degree - Purposely after an incident on Monday lead to her arrest.

Alice Kewsi Franklin was processed into the Sebastian County Detention Center at 6:40 p.m. Monday evening after an arrest by the Fort Smith Police Department.

Franklin remained in custody early Tuesday afternoon and is being held on a $1500 legally sufficient bond.
