Domestic abuser already on probation back in Johnson County jail on similar charges

A Johnson County man who was already on supervised probation for similar crimes was booked into the Johnson County Detention Center on Saturday for Domestic Battering, Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Fleeing, Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.

Jesse Taylor Sandage, 26, of Clarksville had garnered a Felony Failure to Appear conviction in October of last year to go along with an Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent and Domestic Battering guilty finding for which he also drew probation in June of 2019.

There were also "nolle prosequi" notations for Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Terroristic Threatening in the June incident as well.

Sandage remained jailed as of 7 p.m. Sunday night and is facing an April 3 court date.
