Double domestic abuser arrested; now faces bond revocation for similar crimes in December 2019

A 24-year-old Midland resident is facing his second Domestic Abuse charge and arrest in less than thirty-five days after he was incarcerated in the Sebastian County Detention on Wednesday for Domestic Battering in the Third Degree.

Daniel John Johnson, who was arrested last on December 23 of 2019 for Domestic Battering in the Second Degree - 2nd Offense with a Deadly Weapon and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor in the Second Degree, also caught a Criminal Mischief charge this time around, resulting in the Bond Rebocation from the previous charges.

According to the booking informtion from the SCDC, the two separate abuse charges stem from incidents on December 23 and December 28 of 2019.

It isn't Johnson's first rodeo, as he has several felony arrests an convictions on his rap sheet dating back to May of 2014 when he was busted fo Possession of Drug Paraphernalia which resulted in a Parole Revocation for an unknown crime that was dismissed.

Johnson picked up a nolle prosequi on one of three charges in Pulaski County in 2017 after he left the scene of an accident that resulted in an injury. He was charged with careless driving and no liabilty insurance and was driving on a suspended license at the time.

He logged a theft of property charge--once again in Pulaski County- one count of Breaking and Entering and five counts of Theft by Receiving in a three month span in 2017 before bringing his talents to western Arkansas.

Since coming to Sebastian County in 2018 he has faced charges for Theft by Receiving, Petition to Revoke, Contempt, Parole Violation, Failure to Appear, and Driving on Suspended or Revoked before he started beating on family members and endangering minors for his last two arrests.

He remains jailed --for the moment--on the $10,000 bond and a second No Bond hold.
