Ex-covict, kidnapper back in jail for the same stuff that put him there in the first place

A 26-year-old thug who apparently has trouble learning life lessons finds hmself sitting in the Sebatian County Detention Center on a double no-bond hold after he caught felony charges with a Saturday afternoon arrest by the Fort Smith Police Department.

Zachary Edward Warford, who was in prison as late as April of 2019 for the same kind of activities that put him back in jail, is facing felony Terroristic Threatening, Assault on a Family or Household Member by Choking which generated a Felony Petition to Revoke. For good measure, we tried to avoid arrest and got a misdemeanor for his effort and was a wanted fugitive from out of state.

On March 29, 2019 Warford was sentenced to 60 months in prison on March 21, 2019 and if my math skills serves me correctly served less than a year of that sentence before getting out to play the fool again.

Part of the reason he was given 60 months in 2019 for his Decemeber 2018 crimes is because of his criminal history. In 2015, was given 120 months suspended for Kidnapping and 60 months imposed for Felony Terrpristic Threatening.

He also avoided prosecution that go around for Aggravated Assault, False Imprisonment and Drug Paraphernalia and had a Revoction charge dropped for a previous crime we haven't been able to discover.

Warford is scheduled for a hearing in Fort Smith on Monday. If you're a wagering type, the over/under on when he'll back on the streets is two-and-a-half years.
