A Fayetteville woman became the 142nd traffic fatality in the state of Arkansas in 2019 on Sunday when the Ford Focus she was driving ran off the roadway and hit a tree at 5 a.m.
According to the report filed by the Arkansas State Police,Anne Carroll, 27, was piloting the Ford Focus southbound on Highway 71 when she she ;left the roadway near the intersection with Whitehouse Road. Carroll's body was transported to the Washington County Coroner's office.
Trooper Firrandal Schawb noted the road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.
