Felony arrests lead to absconding, parole violation charges for two Fort Smith men
The Fort Smith Police Department arrested two men on absconding and parole violation charges on Monday, as both of them remained jailed into the night at the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center.
Leonard Paul Giddens remained jailed with a no-bond hold after being arrested on four felony counts involving possession of drugs and paraphernalia. The violations triggered a parole violation and Giddens was already being sought for not reporting to his probation officer.
Cody Eugene Kimbley faces $20,000 in cash bonds as well as no-bond hold for absconding and a parole violation after being arrested on two Felony Failure to Appear counts.
