Gravette career druggie facing a total of nineteen counts after Benton County arrest

A Gravette man was arrested on Sunday and charged with nineteen counts--including a dozen counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia -- after he was detained by the Gravette Police Department.

Michael Shawn Samples Jr., 36, who lives in the 15000 block of Indian Creek in Gravette, also picked up three charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Speeding and No Proof of Insurance citations as well as a Class C misdemeanor for Public Intoxication.

To add to the fun and festivities, the new arrests apparently violated conditions of parole and/or suspended sentences Samples has racked up in the past twenty years on various other drug related crimes. Samples shows thirteen arrests since 1999 involving felonies, with the vast majority of those being drug related.

He remained jailed at 9:30 p.m. on Monday facing more no-bond holds than you can shake a meth pipe at.
