A pair of former Henderson State University professors pleaded non guilty on Tuesday after being arrested in November on several charges regarding the manufacturing of methamphetamine in the school's lab.
Bradley Rowland and Terry Bateman were employed by Henderson State University as professors of chemistry at the time of the alleged crimes.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports the pair pleaded not guilty to all charges in Tuesday's hearing in Clark County Circuit Court.
Both remain free on bond.
Police began an investigation in December of 2018 after a lawyer at the university alerted the sheriff’s office to possible illegal activity being conducted on the campus.
