A 34-year-old Mablevale man remained behind bars on Sunday night facing a $2000 bond after he was arrested by officials in Johnson County for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
Booking information from the Johnson County Detention Center shows Christopher Allen Hughes was booked into the jail in Clarksville at 5 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
Hughes last known address according to the Arkansas Crime Information Sex Offender list was a residence in the 4200 block of Jpn Barrow Road in Little Rock.
Hughes had been convicted previously of Second Degree Sexual Assault and had a negotiated guilty plea in Pope County in 2019 for failing to register. On March 12 of last year he was sentenced to 24 months imposed and fined $1500 for the same offense.
