The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reported that a a Sashse Texas man died in Leflore County ATV accident on Friday in a rural, remote section of the county.
Bruce Wayne Thedford, 54, of Sashse, Texas was driving a 2018 Polaris ATV, northbound on Lenox Ridge Road two miles south of State Highway 1 and four miles from the Muse community.
According to the OHP report, Thedford ran off the left side of the road and hit a ditch after which the Polaris was propelled into a tree.
Thedford, who suffered what was described as "massive injuries" was pronounced dead at the scene by officials.
