Lincoln woman lands in jail after Sunday arrest on Domestic Battering charges
Aleathia Cook, 23, of Lincoln was arrested on Sunday for two charges: Failure to Appear and Domestic Battering -3rd Degree. Cook was arrested by the Lincoln Police Department and once booked the FTA was added on to her charges for failure to attend a proceeding in Fayetteville District Court.
At this time, it is not clear what crime predicated Cook being charged with Failure to Appear. There are no records in the Arkansas Court Connect System pertaining to criminal proceedings for Cook.
In Arkansas, domestic battering in the third degree against a family or household member if the person: ... intentionally causes physical or mental impairment by administering to the family or household member (without that person's consent) a drug or any other substance.
