Man wanted out of Crawford County for failing to meet with parole officer arrested by FSPD



A Van Buren man with a long series of incarcerations in Crawford County is looking through a different set of bars today after an arrest for Contempt which led to additional charges for Absconding as well as a possible Parole Revocation.r


Arlen Ray Jones, 55, of Van Buren has a litany of charges and convictions stretching all the way back to 2010 and beyond. Just since 2010, he has been hit for driving on a suspended license five times and well as other various traffic citations on the misdemeanor side.


A Van Buren man with a long series of incarcerations in Crawford County is looking through a different set of bars today after an arrest for Contempt which led to additional charges for Absconding as well as a possible Parole Revocation.


He has also been arrested for DWI, drug and paraphernalia possession, terroristic threatening, aggravated assault on a family member, domestic battering, and failures to appear.


His latest arrest, In September of 2019, was for contempt of court charges stemming from a previous drug possession arrest.


Jones was arrested at 1:53 a.m. Saturday and remains jailed on a no-bond hold for the Parole Violation.
