Oklahoma unemployment rate lower in 75 of 77 counties from same time period last year

In April, Latimer County and McIntosh County posted Oklahoma’s highest county unemployment rate of 4.6 percent. 


McCurtain County and Okmulgee County had the second highest rate for the month.  Cimarron County claimed the lowest county unemployment rate of 1.4 percent.


Unemployment rates in April were lower than a year earlier in 75 counties and higher in two counties.
