OSBI, Creek Nation Lighthorse Police make arrest in Wednesday shooting at Okmulgee travel plaza

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation in conjunction with the Creek Nation Lighthorse Police Department at the Creek Nation Travel Plaza made an arrest after a shooting in Okmulgee on Wednesday.


A couple identified as Joseph Robertson, 50, and Kelly Allen, 45, got into an argument at 3:30 a.m., which led to a shooting that occurred outside of their vehicle. Robertson was shot and taken to a hospital in Tulsa where he was treated and released.


The OSBI was called in at 5:30 a.m. and mid-afternoon , Allen was arrested by the OSBI and Creek Nation Lighthorse Police in Tulsa.


She was transported to the Okmulgee County Jail and is facing a charge of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
