Ozark-St. Francis National Forests officials are seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Forest Plan to update conservation practices for threatened, endangered and sensitive bat species on the Forests.
“Forest managers are proposing an amendment to the Forest Plan to establish more targeted measures to protect bat species and their habitats, including the Indiana Bat,” said Amy Burt, forest planning and NEPA coordinator.
