The former Arkansas Tech University offensive lineman arrested on a Class C Felony count of Sexual Assault in the Third Degree and a second count for Furnishing or Using Prohibited Items in Pope County that we told you about earlier in the week was a corrections officer with the Pope County Sheriff Office.

Toriaun Moses Samuels was booked into the PCDC shortly after noon on Tuesday and at his bond hearing a $20,000 bond was suggested by the prosecutors office. After an impassioned plea from Samuels, the judge set his bond at $12,000, but as of 10 p.m. Wednesday he remained behind bars.

The arrest came after Samuel's allegedly had sex with a female inmate at the PCDC.
