Rogers 24-year-old nabbed on Terroristic Threatening, Assault on Family Member charges
Jared, Haynie, 24, of Rogers was arrested on Sunday in Benton County for Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree – Class D Felony, and Third Degree Assault on a Family or Household Member – Misdemeanor.
Haynie remained jailed on a no-bond hold on both charges as of 10:30 a.m. Monday morning. He was arrested by the Bentonville Police Department and booked into the BCDC at 3:36 p.m. on Sunday.
Haynie is no stranger to trouble. In January of 2018, he was charged with Aggravated Assault and Driving while Intoxicated. In February of 2018, he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing personal injury or death and he was charged again in May of 2018 for Failure to Appear.
A person commits the offense of terroristic threatening in the first degree if:
(A) With the purpose of terrorizing another person, the person threatens to cause death or serious physical injury or substantial property damage to another person; or
(B) With the purpose of terrorizing another person, the person threatens to cause physical injury or property damage to a teacher or other school employee acting in the line of duty.
A person commits third degree assault on a family or household member if the person purposely creates apprehension of imminent physical injury to a family or household member.
