A Morrilton man lost his life on Wednesday in a rural Newton County accident on Scenic Highway 7 just south of Jasper.
Police say 34-year-old Gary Romaloti Foster was driving a 2014 Volvo North on Highway 7 a mile south of Jasper when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and ran off the roadway. The vehicle overturned off the south shoulder on SH 7.
The vehicle came to rest o it's top, and Foster was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deadly crash was the 100th of the year on Arkansas roads and highways. The 100th fatality of 2019 didn't occur until April 3 of that year, according to Arkansas State Police Records.
