Second domestic violence charge levied against Fort Smith in two day stretch
It took a Fort Smith man just a little more than twenty-eight hours this week to find his way back to jail after he was released on a $1500 bond on a Third Degree Assault On Family Or Household Member.
Dustin Jay Sosa, who has had previous drug arrest and been served with at least one order of protection in the past bonded out at 2;58 p.m. on Wednesday and was back in custody at 6:45 p.m. Thursday evening on a Domestic Battering in the Second Degree charge.
Sousa bond out again for $1500 on the second offense in jut over four hours.
Sous avoided jail time with a negotiated plea on a drug paraphernalia charge and hasd possession charges dropped in 2015. He was given a one year imposition of sentence break at that time as were two co-conspirators.
In 2017, Sousa was hit with a Orer of Protection against a Foprt Smith woman.
No trial date has been listed for Sousa at the writing on this story.
