Second pot-growing operation busted in Franklin County on Thursday

"On April 25, 2019 after receiving other information in regards to the marijuana operation on Hwy 23 north, it was discovered that a second residence potentially had more plants.

A search warrant was executed at a residence just south of the first residence involved in a drug bust arlier in the week (see RELATED STORY) and twenty-two marijuana plants were located along with processed marijuana and felony drug paraphernalia.

Charah Cagle-Williams was arrested along with the individual from the first seizure, Austin McCoy 19. McCoy had been released earlier on bond and was discovered to be at the second residence when law enforcement arrived.

The two face charges of manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia."
