Sex with minor lands Siloam Springs 23-year-old in jail on no-bond hold


Zachary McKenzie Wright

A 23-year-old Benton County man was arrested Thursday on a Felony Sexual Assault in the Forth Degree charge.


Zachary McKenzie Wright of Siloam Springs was booked into the BCDC on a no-bond old on Thursday at 10:51 a.m. and has a Benton County Circuit Court hearing for April 13.



Arkansas State law defines Sexual Assault in the Fourth Degree as:


Being twenty (20) years of age or older:


(A) Engages in sexual intercourse or deviate sexual activity with another person who is:


(i) Less than sixteen (16) years of age; and

(ii) Not the person’s spouse; or

(B) Engages in sexual contact with another person who is:

(i) Less than sixteen (16) years of age; and

(ii) Not the person’s spouse


Class D felonies are the least serious felonies in Arkansas, punishable by up to six years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
