Six felony charges for Fort Smith woman who surrendered off bond


A 25-year-old Fort Smith woman remained jailed on a $13,500 bond, $5000 of which is cash, after she surrendered off bond on Wednesday on six separate felony charges.


Booking information from the Sebastian County Detention Center shows Haley Michelle Herron was booked into the SCDC at 6 p.m. on Wednesday on two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Failure tio Appear, Theft of Property and Criminal Impersonation.


The Failure to Appear warrants were issued on December 13, 2019 and February 6, 2020. The cash portion of her bond is associated with one of the Failure to Appears.


Herron was arrested in 2016 in tghe Greenwood District along with Jordan David Garcia. Garcia went to prison doe Possession of a Controlled Substance with a Suspended Imposition of Sentence on three other felony counts, including being a felon in possession of a firearm.


Herron also drew a Suspended Imposition of Sentence for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at that time.


Herron has court dates scheduled February 24 and 26 and March 2.
