Sunday spree lands Greenwood resident in county lock-up facing five felony counts
A Greenwood man got his Felony report card before Sunday School over the weekend when he was booked into the Sebastian County Detention Center on five separate felonies resulting in a 2.75 grade point average.
Rodney Charles Griffin, who was already out on a $5000 legally sufficient bond for Burglary - Residential Felony, Battery in the Third Degree - Purpose, Disorderly Conduct - Fighting, and Public Intoxication - Danger to self or others charges stemming from a November 19, 2019 arrest, remains behind bars on new charges filed by the Lower County District Court in Greenwood.
His new charges include Terroristic Threatening in the Second Degree,Endangering the Welfare of a Minor in the Third Degree, Resisting Arrest Misdemeanor,Disorderly Conduct - Fighting, and Battery in the Second Degree of a Police Officer. That gives him two Class B and one Class A and Class C and one Class D felony to contend with along a misdemeanor charge after his latest adventure.
He was booked into the SCDC at 9:08 a.m. on Sunday.
Charles will have to come up with yet another $6000 legally sufficient bond or remain in custody until his March 16 court date.
