Terroristic threatening charge leads to 12-hour jail stay, release on bond for Fort Smith woman

A Fort Smith woman was released on a $2700 bond Tuesday night after an arrest by the Fort Smith Police for Terrroristic Threatening, a Class D Felony, as well as a charge of Misdemeanor Public Intoxication earlier in the day.

Nicole Renee Williams apparently threatened her way into a jail cell for just over twelve hours with an early morning arrest and release on bond at 8:45 p.m.

Other than a 2017 drug arrest for which she received a suspended sentence in Sebastian County and various traffic citations in both Sebastian and Crawford Counties, Williams shows no previous felony arrests on her record.

Booking information at the SCDC did not have a court date listed for Williams on the charges.
