Unemployment lower in 74 of 77 counties in Oklahoma compared to a year ago





In March, Latimer County posted Oklahoma’s highest county unemployment rate of 5.7 percent.


McIntosh County had the second highest rate for the month, while McCurtain County had the state’s third highest rate.


Cimarron County claimed the lowest county unemployment rate of 1.7 percent.

Unemployment rates in March were lower than a year earlier in 74 counties and higher in three counties.
