The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two men, one from Howe and the other from Hodgen, suffered injuries in a utility vehicle accident over the weekend in Leflore County.

The accident occured Sunday shortly after 4:30 p.m on County Road D1590 near Muse.

A 2018 Polaris piloted by Cody Eaton, 33, of Hodgen, was traveling south on the rural road and exited the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Eaton was transported by helicopter to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and was admitted in stable condition.

Eaton suffered trunk and internal injuries.

Randy Sisco of Howe, a pasenger on the UTV, was transported to St. Vincent in Hot Springs where he was admitted in stable condition with trunk, external and head injuries.

The reports says alcohol was a factor and neither man was using a seatbelt.
