Woman with long rap sheets adds to her accomplishment with yet another warrant

A 28-year-old Fort Smith woman seemingly went from the fire to a future date with the frying pan after a Felony Warrant for her arrest was issued by Sebastian County for a Felony Petition to Revoke

Sometime in the past few weeks, Jaala Jean Elliott was removed from the absconder state data base for Crawford County on the Arkansas Department of Corrections website. While updating the files last week her name was missing from the list of located or apprehended suspects and Today in Fort Smith posted this notification:

On Monday February 24, another case was filed involving Elliot and a co-conspirator in the 12th Circuit Court District for four Felony drug and paraphernalia counts. That arrest marked the eighth Elliot has been jailed on Felony Drug charges since 2009 (which is as far back as online records are available for Arkansas Court Connect.)

There was a charge for Revocation attached to that matter, but it was dropped (as several were over the years). She had several suspended sentenced and pro-probation citations until Novemeber of 2011 when she was given 36 months of imposed time and 168 months suspended for another drug violation.

The records shows another drug arrest in 2015 for which she drew 36 months and 84 months for a Revocation, and there have been subsequent violations all the way up to 2019.

Elliott has also been arrested foir Aggravated Assault. The plain old kind and also for assaulting a family or household member.

The latest arrest, dated in February of this year was for possession of meth/cocaine, heroin/fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. She will be tried with a co-conspirator Heather Shelly when arrested.

Sebastian County issued their Felony warrant for Elliott on March 4.
