Louisiana Lost: Baton Rouge 19-year-old vanished November 10, 1981 without a trace

Eleanor Parker of Baton Rouge, Louisiana disappeared without a trace on November 10, 1981. Her body was never found.


Paarker was described at the time as a white female with dark blond hair, and blue eyes. She was approx. 5’5″ and 115 lbs.


Parker had just graduated from Lee High School, had moved into an apartment with three other (female) roommates, and planned to attend Louisiana State University.


She was last seen at her parents’ house on November 10, 1981.During that visit, Eleanor packed some winter clothes before heading back to her apartment.


She was never seen or heard from again.


Eleanor worked as a store clerk at Goudchaux’s (a retail store). On November 18, 1981, Eleanor’s car, a 1975 Ford Maverick, was found at an apartment complex near her work.


According to officials in Baton Rouge the case if officially still open and under investigation.
