Twenty-three years ago, someone got away with murder in Pass Christian, Mississippi.
Wesly Cullen Cuevas was just 19 years old when he was killed. He had a job with the family masonry business, and was going to college.
However, Cuevas' future ended abruptly in a late night shooting in Delisle in February of 1997. Wesly Cuevas was found dead inside his 1992 Chevy Cavalier. He'd been shot twice in the head.
Cuevas was located by a the security guard in his vehicle slumped over the wheel with the engine running,
Evidence collected at the scene and inside the car has been submitted for DNA testing in the past few years, but so far there have been no breaks in the case.
Harrison County investigators would like nothing better than to put this case to rest.
