Central

Arcadia: April 22. Elevation above normal, water 63 and stained. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits along shallows and shorelines. Crappie good on minnows and jigs along riprap. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on in-line spinnerbaits, jigs and sassy shad around points. Report submitted by Mark Murray, game warden stationed in Oklahoma County.


Draper: April 23. Elevation above normal, water 63 and stained. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around docks, riprap and shorelines. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait at inlet and around points. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, plastic baits and spinnerbaits in coves, shallows and shorelines. Report submitted by Chad Strang, game warden stationed in Cleveland County.


Hefner: April 20. Elevation above average, water 65. Crappie, blue catfish, and channel catfish good on jigs and minnows around dams, rocks, and shorelines. Catfish are also good on chicken liver, cut bait, shrimp and worms around flats, rocks and spillway. Largemouth bass good along shorelines on plastic worms, spinnerbaits and crankbaits. White bass good on buzz baits and crankbaits around coves and sandbar. Walleye, white bass and striped bass hybrids good along the shorelines on lipless baits and sassy shad. Overholser: April 22. Elevation above normal, water 64 and stained. Blue and channel catfish fair on crawfish and cut bait in the main lake. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on crawfish, jigs and sassy shad in the main lake. Report submitted by Mark Murray, game warden stationed in Oklahoma County.


Thunderbird: April 21. Elevation above normal, water 62 and stained. Largemouth bass good on jigs, plastic baits and spinnerbaits around points, riprap and shallows. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around brush structure, in coves, creek channels and docks. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait and stinkbait along channels, points and riprap. Wes Watkins: April 21. Elevation above average, water muddy. Channel and blue catfish slow on chicken liver and punch bait around points. Crappie slow on jigs and minnows around brush structure and shorelines. Largemouth bass slow on sassy shad and spinnerbaits around brush structure and shorelines. Northeast


Bell Cow: April 21. Elevation normal, water 63 and murky. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around docks and shorelines. Largemouth bass slow on plastics, sassy shad, and swim baits around brush structure. Report submitted by Gary Emmons, game warden stationed in Lincoln County.


Carl Blackwell: April 20. Elevation normal, water 65 and murky. Largemouth bass and striped bass hybrids fair on flukes, jigs, minnows, plastics, and tube jigs around coves and shorelines. Crappie good on jigs and tube jigs around crappie dock. Channel catfish fair on hot dogs, stinkbait, and worms around riprap, shorelines, and weed beds. Chandler: April 21. Elevation normal, water 64 and murky. Largemouth bass slow on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbait, and plastics around coves and shoreline. Crappie slow on jigs and minnows around dam and docks. Sunfish and bluegill fair on worms around dam and boat ramp. Report submitted by Gary Emmons, game warden stationed in Lincoln County.


Copan: April 21. Elevation normal, water 60’s and clearing. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around coves and shorelines. Channel, blue, and flathead catfish slow on chicken liver, shad, and worms below the dam. White bass fair on small lures and spoons around creek channels and river channel. Eucha: April 19. Elevation above average, water low 60’s and clear. Crappie good on hair jigs, minnows, spoons, and tube jigs around brush structure, dam, riprap, and shorelines. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, and spinnerbaits around coves, points, riprap, and shorelines. White bass slow on crankbaits, hair jigs, and plastics around creek channels and discharge. Ft. Gibson: April 17. Elevation above average, water 65 and stained. White bass fair on flukes, hair jigs, in-line spinnerbait, jigs, sassy shad, and spinnerbait below the dam, and around creek channels, dam, river channel, and low water area and below the main dam. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on live shad, worms, and Carolina-rigged shad and worms around channels, creek channels and river channel. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, coves, shallows, shorelines, standing timber, and 5-8 ft. in 12-14 ft. of water. Grand: April 22. Elevation above normal, water 58 and slightly stained. Crappie excellent on minnows and jigs from the bank to 8 ft. around brush structure, in coves and docks. Blue catfish good on fresh cut shad at 2-12 ft. around brush structure and in the main lake. White bass good on jigs, plastic baits and spoons below the dam, Elk River and Drowning Creek. Paddlefish snagging good in the Neosho River. Report submitted by Marni Loftis, game warden stationed in Delaware County.


Greenleaf: April 20. Elevation above average, water 54 and murky. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbait, jerk bait, and plastics around brush structure, channels, coves, creek channels, points, shallows, standing timber, and weed beds. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, coves, creek channels, docks, shallows, and shorelines. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on live shad and shad around channels, coves, creek channels, main lake, river channel, and shallows, Report submitted by Lark Wilson, game warden stationed in Muskogee County.


Hudson: April 18. Elevation normal, water upper 50’s and stained. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure, points, and shorelines. White bass good on crankbaits and plastics around creek channels and river channel. Paddlefish good on snagging below the dam. Report submitted by Kody Moore, game warden stationed in Mayes County.

Hulah: April 21. Elevation above average, water 60’s and clearing. White bass good on small lures, spoons, and rattle traps around creek channels. Crappie fair on jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure and shorelines. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish fair on chicken liver, shad, and worms below the dam and around riprap. Kaw: April 22. Elevation above normal, water low 60s and dirty. Crappie good on minnows and jigs in coves, creek channels, riprap, rocks, shallows, shorelines and standing timber. White bass, striped bass and striped bass hybrids fair on jigs, live shad, minnows, sassy shad and small lures below the dam and along creek channels. Blue and channel catfish good on crawfish, cut bait, punch bait, shad, stinkbait and worms along flats and main lake. Report submitted by Spencer Grace, game warden stationed in Kay County.


Keystone: April 18. Elevation above average, water muddy. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush structure and docks. Blue catfish good on cut bait around channels. Largemouth bass fair on plastics around shorelines. Report submitted by Karlin Bailey, game warden stationed in Creek County.


Lower Illinois: April 19. Elevation above average, water 50 and clear. Rainbow trout slow on PowerBait below the dam and around eddies. High water levels will on Tenkiller has led to increased water being released. This is making trout fishing difficult. Report submitted by Jeremy Bersche, game warden stationed in Sequoyah County.


McMurtry: April 22. Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water 61 and semi-clear. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows and tube jigs at 8-10 ft. around brush structure, docks, standing timber and Crooked Hook. Best reports have been on dark colored jigs around the docks on both sides. Slow action with the jigs seems to be the best method. Small minnows have worked as well. Biggest crappie caught on bottom at west boat house. Channel catfish good on live shad, shad, chicken liver and dough bait along channels, creek channels, river channel, west side docks, east side tent camping banks. Late night fishing has been the best lately. Largemouth bass good on minnows, plastic worms, Texas and Carolina rigs, rattletraps, spinnerbaits and rooster tails in west side coves, northern creek, island rocks and main body rocky point delivered several nice bass recently. Bass are starting to hit more top water presentations. North tip of the island has produced several bass. White bass fair on crankbaits, deep divers and spinnerbaits along dam riprap, main lake channel near the sandbar and west side banks. Trolling has been a good method of catch this week. Saugeye fair on deep divers, Rapalas sassy shad and storm wiggle warts in the main body around the sandbar and near the dam. Trolling with deep divers near bottom has been the best method of catch recently. Report submitted by Lake McMurtry Staff.

Oologah: April 21. Elevation normal, water 60 and murky. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around rocks and rocky banks 2-6 ft. White bass fair on crankbaits and jigs below the dam. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait and shad around flats and 8-15 ft. on juglines. Report submitted by Brek Henry, game warden stationed in Rogers County.

Skiatook: April 19. Elevation below average, water clear and in 50s-60s. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass fair on crankbaits and jigs around main lake and points. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure, standing timber, and 5-15 ft. deep. Report submitted by Paul Welch, game warden stationed in Osage County.

Sooner: April 21. Elevation normal, water murky. Striped bass hybrids fair on live bait around the discharge. Largemouth bass fair on plastics around brush structure and weed beds. Crappie slow on live bait around riprap. Report submitted by Stephen Paul, game warden stationed in Noble County.


Spavinaw: April 19. Elevation above average, water low 60’s and clear. Crappie good on hair jigs, minnows, spoons, and tube jigs around brush structure, docks, and riprap. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, jigs, and spinnerbaits around coves, points, and riprap. White bass fair on crankbaits, hair jigs, in-line spinnerbaits, and plastics around creek channels and discharge. Report submitted by Cody Morris, game warden stationed in Delaware County.


Tenkiller: April 21. Elevation above average, water slightly stained. Smallmouth, largemouth, and spotted bass excellent on jigs, plastics, and jig-n-chunk around main lake and rock ledges 12-20 ft. Crappie excellent on jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, docks, main lake, and 12-18 ft. deep over brush. White bass fair on Alabama rig, bill baits, and jigs around creek channels and river channel. Smallmouth Bass are hanging out on rock ledges in deeper water. Many catches reported in the three to five pound range. Crappie have not moved in yet but are actively feeding over brush structure in deep water. Webbers Falls: April 20. Elevation above average, water 54 and murky. Smallmouth, largemouth, and spotted bass good on bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, jerk bait, plastics, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, channels, coves, creek channels, docks, shallows, shorelines, and standing timber. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, channels, coves, docks, flats, shallows, and standing timber. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish good on cut bait, live shad, and shad around channels, coves, creek channels, flats, river channel, rocks, and shallows. Northwest


Ft. Supply: April 22. Elevation normal, water 65. Crappie excellent on minnows and jigs in the main lake and along riprap. Crappie really good at the jetties with red blue white jigs. Walleye fair on minnows and jigs below the dam, along the dam and riprap. White bass fair on minnows and jigs below the dam, along the dam and main lake. White bass are few and far between so far but should pick up later in the week. Report submitted by Mark Reichenberger, game warden stationed in Woodward County.


Foss: April 22. Elevation normal with gates open and water 58. Crappie fair on small jigs and live bait around fish house at marina and floating docks near main ramp. White bass fair to good on live bait along the north side. Catfish fair on live bait and stinkbait near Lakeview Point. Walleye slow on worms. Striped bass hybrids slow to fair on hard baits and live bait. Report submitted by Eric Puyear, B & K Bait House.


Southeast


Arbuckle: April 20. Elevation 2 ft. above normal, water 56 and stained. Largemouth bass good on jigs, spinnerbaits and soft plastic worms. Smallmouth bass slow on crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Crappie excellent on minnows and jigs along shorelines. White bass good on swimbaits and jigs. Report submitted by Jack Melton.


Broken Bow: April 19. Elevation above average, water 63. Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits around points and shorelines. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and standing timber. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.


Eufaula: April 19. Elevation above average, water 59 and murky. Crappie good on minnows and tube jigs around brush structure, shallows, shorelines, and standing timber. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait and live shad around creek channels, flats, river channel, and river mouth. White bass good on flukes, hair jigs, jigs, sassy shad, small lures, and tube jigs around creek channels and sand bar. Report submitted by Jake Bersche, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.


Hugo: April 19. Elevation above normal, water 60 and murky. Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live bait and shad below the dam, along channels, main lake, river channel and standing timber. Crappie good on minnows and jigs below the dam, around brush structure, channels, main lake, river channel, shorelines and standing timber. Largemouth and spotted bass good on crankbaits, live bait, plastic baits and small lures around brush structure, in coves, flats, main lake, points, river channel and shorelines. Konawa: April 18. Elevation normal, water 61 and murky. Largemouth bass excellent on crankbaits, lipless baits and plastic baits in the main lake, around points, river channel and weed beds. Striped bass hybrids and white bass good on crankbaits and live shad in coves, discharge, main lake and river channel. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait and stinkbait in coves, inlet, riprap and weed beds. Report submitted by Garret Harley, game warden stationed in Seminole County.


Lower Mountain Fork: April 19. Elevation normal, water clear. Trout good on caddis flies, PowerBait and tube jigs below the dam, along creek channels, rocks and spillway. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

McGee Creek: April 19. Elevation above normal, water 63. Largemouth and spotted bass good on plastic baits and spinnerbaits along creek channels, rocks and shorelines. Crappie good on minnows around brush structure and creek channels. Report submitted by Jay Harvey, game warden stationed in Atoka County.


Murray: April 19. Elevation above normal, water 60 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits and spinnerbaits along shallows and weed beds. Pine Creek: April 19. Elevation normal, water clear. Largemouth bass excellent on crankbaits and plastic baits in coves and shallows. Crappie good on jigs around brush structure and shallows. Robert S. Kerr: April 19. Elevation normal, water murky. Largemouth and spotted bass excellent on bill baits, rogues and spinnerbaits in coves, flats, points, shallows and weed beds. Crappie and white bass good on minnows and jigs along channels, in coves, river mouth, shallows, shorelines and weed beds. Report submitted by Allen Couch, game warden stationed in Haskell County.


Sardis: April 19. Elevation normal, water 64. Largemouth and spotted bass good on plastic baits and spinnerbaits around brush structure, points, shorelines, standing timber and weed beds. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad along flats and main lake. Crappie fair on minnows, tube jigs and jigs around brush structure, shorelines and weed beds. Report submitted by Dane Polk, game warden stationed in Pushmataha County.


Texoma: April 18. Elevation above normal, water 59 and muddy. With recent rains, the lake level is rising, and water has become muddy. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, live bait, minnows and tube jigs around brush structure, docks and points. Crappie have been moving on and off bank with all the crazy weather so trying crappie fishing at different depths will best method for finding crappie, with muddy water use dark colored jigs. Striped bass good on live shad, minnows, plastic baits, sassy shad and slabs along flats and main lake. Striper have been biting well on live shad and larger minnows. If short on bait using cut bait on feeding schools of fish will produce good numbers of fish. Using sassy shad in 20-25 ft. of water has been good, allow bait to sink to bottom and slowly retrieve to catch fish. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad in the main lake, river channel and river mouth.

Wister: April 19. Elevation above normal, water cloudy. Largemouth and spotted bass good on bill baits, buzz baits, crankbaits, plastic baits and spinnerbaits around points, shallows and shorelines. Blue and channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, hotdogs, punch bait and stinkbait below the dam, along channels, flats, main lake and points. Crappie good on minnows and jigs below the dam, around brush structure and channels. Report submitted by Thomas Gillham, game warden stationed in LeFlore County.


Southwest


Altus-Lugert: April 22. Elevation below normal, water 52 and clear. Walleye slow on jerk baits and jigs along the dam and rocks. Channel catfish good stinkbait and worms along river channel. Ft. Cobb: April 23. Elevation above normal, water 60 and murky. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait and stinkbait around brush structure and creek channels. Report submitted by Brayden Hicks, game warden stationed in Caddo County.


Tom Steed: April 22. Elevation normal, water 62. Crappie and saugeye good on hair jigs, jigs and minnows around brush structure, rocks and shorelines. Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait and shad in the main lake and around points. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on crankbaits and minnows along creek channels and points. Waurika: April 19. Elevation above normal, water high 50s and very murky. Walleye and saugeye fair on crankbaits, live bait and spoons along the dam and riprap. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on minnows and sassy shad along the dam and points. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around brush structure, docks and standing timber.
